ESP-IDF and other upstream binaries

Firmware, bootloader, and related binary/ELF fixtures under images/,
secure_images/, and elf2image/ that are build products of ESP-IDF, the
ESP8266 SDK, Zephyr, or other upstream projects remain under the licenses of
those projects. They are not licensed under CC0-1.0 by this notice.

ESP-IDF source is primarily Apache License 2.0. Built images may also
include third-party components (for example newlib) under additional
licenses; see the ESP-IDF COPYRIGHT and LICENSE files.

Third-party or incomplete-source fixtures include:

  elf2image/esp8266-nonossdk*.elf
  elf2image/esp8266-openrtos-blink-v2.elf
  elf2image/esp32-zephyr.elf
  images/esp8266_deepsleep.bin
  images/not_4_byte_aligned.bin
  images/efuse/*

For `images/efuse/`, `esp_efuse_custom_table.csv` is the editable form of the
custom eFuse table; the key blobs are opaque test material.

ESP-IDF / SDK regression goldens without in-tree sources (for example
`images/bootloader_*.bin`, `images/esp_idf_blink_esp32s2.bin`,
`elf2image/esp32-app-template.elf`, `elf2image/esp32-bootloader.elf`, and
`secure_images/` bases) are covered by the upstream-license paragraph above,
not this list. Header stubs (`images/esp32c3_header_min_rev.bin`,
`images/esp32s3_header.bin`) and `images/partitions_singleapp.bin` have
rebuild notes in `images/README.md`. Authored sources listed under CC0 above
cover the matching `esp32c6-appdesc` / `esp32-too-many-sections` build
products. The `images/ram_helloworld/` images are not committed; they are
assembled at test time by `ram_helloworld_builder.py`, which is
GPL-2.0-or-later like the rest of the suite.
